- Aim for perfection; hosting is not a competition; no needs to be perfect here!
- Force their guests to play some silly games if they don’t want to. Not everyone likes playing games, and they respect that
- Complain that they are tired or how much work it was to throw that party, which could make their guests feel guilty
- Complain about what they forgot or if they burn the chicken wings! As long as all have enough food, all is good
- Let their friends drive back home after too many drinks! It’s their responsibility to check on them and hide the keys until they’re good to drive
- Spend the evening on their phone…why have people over if they ignore them?
